Stranded
YES, I spent quite a considerable time today being STRANDED. At Melbourne Central. Where I was supposed to meet Isabel and Ashley. Why? BECAUSE I LEFT MY FRICKIN' PHONE AT HOME!!! -_______- The moment I realised this on the tram, I felt so vulnerable all of a sudden. Darn it. I hate being reliant on technology, but then again... >.> Since today was so bloody cold and dreary and windy, I decided not to get off the tram to go get my phone.
Phoneless, I ended up waiting like an idiot at the Melbourne Central clock, looking at the Sony LCD TV screen replaying the SAME Pixar animation OVER and OVER and OVER and #$@%. What's more, I kept anxiously looking out for either Isabel or Ashley, and this Korean couple beside me kept thinking I was looking at them (yeah, reality check, why would I want to look at people I hardly even know??? -___-). After waiting for an hour or so, I saw Ashley sauntering into Melb Central. OMG I was so relieved. I had thought that the only highlight I would have today was going to Coles and getting some shampoo... XD
(SOMEONE'S been using my shampoo, I just know it. My shampoo bottle is emptier than a black hole, but still my conditioner is half full. Grrr.)
We wandered around a bit through Ozmosis, Jay Jays, Billabong, Espirit and Myer. One really irritating incident was when I needed the restroom and there were queues frickin' EVERYWHERE. (Thanks a lot, Melb Central, for having TWO cubicles per toilet. I can see you guys are totally focused on providing the very best of retail experiences at the expense of making money) Myer is no better. They should hand out GPS devices to all their customers at the entrance, just so we can find where we're meant to go, quickly and efficiently, instead of having to wander around like lost souls... That poor customer service lady out front must be really really patient, seeing as how she's got to give directions to the different departments and all. Pei fu pei fu.
Then we went to Chom Chom for dinner. OH EM GEE! Haven't been there in ages! I missed my prawn noodles so much. Aside from the fact that the soya milk tasted like so much crap (forgot that cold soya milk isn't as nice as the warm sort), it was a pretty good dinner. If it wasn't for Ashley going on and on and on about Zowie... -____-
Grahhh. Funny how I don't have any more urges to blog once the holidays are here. I guess maybe I don't have anything to rant about anymore, HAHA. ^^
Things to do soon:
1) Go Kbox
2) Watch Kung Fu Panda, Hancock, Mamma Mia! and Happy Go Lucky
3) Eat steamboat
4) Cook something. ANYTHING. Instant noodles not counted.
5) Lodge a complaint with Fitness First for giving me follow-up calls
6) Get a job. ANY JOB.
7) Buy remaining books
8) Go Box Hill eat yum cha
XD When one has nothing to say, make a list. ;P
Tah~
